My whole journey in 60 seconds ⬇️ 3-4 years mostly wasted doing stupid shit with no guidance, training mostly by myself. Do yourselves a favour and just get ANY form of help. Whether it’s a one off program, joining a community, training with others in your neighbourhood, or investing in a coach. Trust me, it helps so much. Bringing back the real hybrid | GOALS below👇 1. Continue getting to elite levels of calisthenics. Full planche pushups, FL pullups for reps, one-arm handstand for 20+ seconds. 2. Sub 1:30 half marathon next year. Maybe a full marathon later in the year, sub 3?? Will see 3. Get a front split 4. Pistol squat my bodyweight + my bodyweight in weight 5. Bench press 2x bodyweight 6. Continue improving aesthetics Got some plans on how i’ll achieve it all within the programming. I don’t think nothing...

Training ‘abbs’ for calisthenics strength⁉️ Huge misconception i think overall. The reason you can’t do advanced skills has almost nothing to do with how strong your abbs are. Don’t isolate them for the sake of that. Your overall core willl be getting stronger with those harder variations overtime. The body adapts specifically to what you train it. What helped changed my physique was far from ‘optimal’ in terms of training and i think that’s the whole point. It’s about optimising to your current circumstance and lifestyle. Diet, training, sleep and recovery. Forcing yourself to do what your favourite influencer is doing is far from smart. Look at your goals, training/diet preferences and lifestyle.. do what you can genuinely sustain and find joy in while optimising areas that are rational. Need help with that? The structure of your calisthenics workouts is probably the biggest issue with your progress. You can’t outwork a shit program. There’s non negotiables you need to hit to build strength. You may see some progress very early, but it’ll plateau very quickly. Get the right guidance, link in my bio ❤️

Corrections for arguably the most technical skill in calisthencis 👇 Honestly get these right and you are absolutely set for majority push skills. Being able to maintain this engagement through a full pushup takes incredible control.
