Para inspeção em SPDA é é necessário além da conferência visual também a medição de continuidade, visando detectar algum mal contato ou alta resistência no circuito. Para isso é utilizado o Milíohmimetro, que injeta uma corrente, e através do método Kelvin calcula a queda de tensão do circuito, medindo com exatidão a resistência do circuito na escala de mili ohms.
